PRP
What is it?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), known in the world of Aesthetic Medicine as the "Vampire Facial", is a non-invasive procedure in which a small amount of the patient's blood is extracted and then centrifuged in order to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood. With this procedure we are able to use various growth factors present in the platelets in order to moisturize, fill, brighten and elasticize the patient's skin. PRP stimulates the healing process by regenerating or healing the damaged tissue itself.
Who is it for?
For patients who want to improve the appearance and texture of their skin, giving it greater firmness and elasticity, restoring luminosity and radiance, and attenuating small fine wrinkles and enlarged pores. It can also be used on the hair to stimulate hair growth.
How does it work?
Through microinjections into the face and neck, or into the scalp, with the platelet-rich plasma that has been obtained. When applied to specific areas of the skin, PRP acts as a matrix that promotes increased collagen production, regenerates tissues, smoothes and firms the skin, contributing to a considerable improvement in skin quality. It is a simple and safe procedure that is completely natural, as the product injected comes from the patient themselves, without synthetic and/or chemical products.
Results begin to appear 3-4 weeks after treatment and gradually improve over time, with the most significant results being more noticeable after 1-2 months. PRP maintenance treatments should be administered over time according to each patient's needs.
