What is it?

Tensioning threads are resorbable and biocompatible materials that stimulate the formation of collagen, while at the same time fixing the tissues, in order to produce a visible "lift" in the skin.

Who is it for?

They are indicated for patients who want to improve the firmness of the face and neck.

- Middle third: elevation of cheekbones
- Lower third: improvement of nasolabial folds, "Chinese moustache", marionette lines and "bulldog cheeks"

How does it work?

The threads are applied via a cannula to the subcutaneous cellular tissue under local anesthesia, without a cut or scar, to "lift fallen parts" of the skin, restoring a new facial contour that has been lost due to sagging.

Each thread causes progressive fibrosis of the tissue, stimulating collagen production and resulting in firmer skin. The collagen network formed where the threads are located lasts even after they have been reabsorbed, and their effect lasts 8-12 months.
