What is it?

Botulinum toxin is a protein complex of biological origin that blocks neuromuscular communication, causing the muscle to reduce its ability to contract and, consequently, the unwanted expression wrinkle does not form. It is used to prevent the appearance and minimize expression wrinkles, among other aesthetic corrections.

Who is it for?

For patients who want to eliminate wrinkles that appear in certain areas: frontal wrinkles (forehead), glabella (between the eyebrows), eye contour ("crow's feet"). It may also be indicated in other situations such as gummy smile, bruxism, platysmal bands, hyperhidrosis and "orange peel" chin.

How does it apply?

It is administered by injection in very small doses, with a very fine needle.
